Your private phone,
hidden in a calculator.
Umbra disguises a second, fully separate Android phone behind a working calculator. Type your secret code to reveal it. Everyone else — a border agent, a controlling partner, a thief — just sees a calculator.

How it works
Three ideas, no technical setup to understand.
Looks like a calculator
It is a real calculator. No hidden icon, no suspicious app — it does math like any other.
A secret code reveals it
Type your code and press = to switch to a completely separate phone — its own apps, photos and accounts. A return code switches back.
Nobody can tell it's there
Built on Android's Device Owner + multi-user (no root). The user switcher is hidden, so the second phone stays invisible.
How to use it, step by step
It feels like a magic trick the first time. Swipe through the whole flow.
Made for real situations
When handing over a phone isn't really a choice — your private one stays invisible.
Border & airport checks
Hand over a phone that is, genuinely, just a calculator with a decoy phone behind it.
A controlling partner
Keep your own messages, photos and accounts truly separate — not just hidden in a folder.
Theft or a forced unlock
What a thief sees and unlocks is the decoy. The panic code can lock the real phone instantly.
Umbra is a privacy tool for protecting your own device. Use it lawfully.
Download & install
Umbra installs differently from normal apps — for good reason. Here's the setup, step by step.

FAQ
Which phones are supported?
Any Android phone that allows multiple users — Google Pixel, Android One, and AOSP-based phones generally do. Many Samsung consumer phones (especially Korean/carrier models) limit users to one and are not supported. The app checks your device for you before any reset. iPhone is not supported.
Do I need to create an account?
No. No account, no email. Your license is an anonymous code, and your subscription status only appears inside the hidden, code-protected settings.
Will anyone see "Umbra" on my card statement?
No. Charges appear under our payment processor / Fizz Labs Co., never "Umbra". Choose annual or a prepaid code to reduce how often a charge appears at all.
What is the panic code?
An optional second code for coercion. It can hide the hidden phone until you disarm it (default) or permanently wipe it. It never blocks returning to the normal phone, and never destroys the decoy.
Is this legal, and who is it for?
It's a privacy tool for people who need to keep their own personal phone private when handing over or sharing a device. Use it lawfully and in line with local rules.
